Our Process
eMzantsi is about making a space for people to come together to express themselves. The project was founded on the imperative of ‘making unity fun’ and strives for the participation of our diverse communities at every level. Whether running a primary schools workshop, giving a high schools assembly, facilitating a collaborative music project performance, making a giant puppet from recycled materials, designing a research tool or holding a staff meeting, every eMzantsi activity is marked by a dynamic display of intercultural teamwork. This is particularly powerful for local youth to witness in such a traditionally conservative context as the Fish Hoek valley.
Training sessions for staff, facilitators and partners seek to explore, refine and strengthen our fundamental principles on a ongoing basis.
