The annual eMzantsi Carnival is famous for fostering pride in the diverse cultural heritage of Cape Town’s south peninsula.
The route of the parade rotates through our different communities over the years, but there is always a spectacular stage show at the end of it, celebrating the artistic talents of our youth.
Our Mapiko crew is also famous for creating giant puppets, floats and costumes from recycled materials in a colourful style, which has become the hallmark of eMzantsi, alongside our intercultural ethos.
