In September 2010, the third 4 WAY LIVE show was staged after the eMzantsi 2010 press launch at Fish Hoek High School on Heritage Day. Over the course of the afternoon, around 300 people were treated to a smorgasbord of local talent, from the huge voice of petite ‘All That Jazz’ singer Shannon Docherty of Fish Hoek to the debut comedy set of Seawinds’ Fatima Damon, a product of Mark Sampson’s eMzantsi MC class and the first female Muslim stand-up in South Africa. Highlights included rocking sets from Nation 2 Nation, the Valley Christian Church band 24 and debut performances from Fish Hoek High School bands Vandalem and Fax Police. The crowd also roared its appreciation for the first public performances of the eMzantsi music project collaborations featuring artists from across the peninsula.
